Four lifetime girlfriends, “Flossy Posse,” have distanced themselves with the passage of years. When a lifestyle specialist named Ryan Primer (“Regina Hall”), nicknamed “the future Oprah,” gets a chance to make a speech at a New Orleans festival, she decides to take her girlfriends to make her work in a holiday of girls. His three friends are Sasha (Queen Latifah), former Time magazine journalist who now has a gossip site and has financial problems.
Lisa (Jada Pinkett Smith), nurse and mother who did not have a boyfriend after her husband’s divorce a few years ago, and Dina (Tiffany Haddish), a girlfriend who was fired after attacking her work colleague shortly before the trip. While on the trip, Sasha gets a tip on a picture of a colorful man who kisses a model from Instagram, and the guy is supposed to be Ryan’s husband, Stewart.
The girls do not really want to tell Ryan what they found out, but Dina gets naked, and Ryan surprises them telling them they already knew about it and that they were going to couple therapy sessions. Even so, when Dina sees Stewart at their hotel, she threatens him with a glass bead, and because of this incident he gets out of the hotel and is denied access to the future. As solidarity, the other girls decide to leave, only the only place where they are accepted is a hotel frequented by prostitutes and dubious people.
