Even vampires need a holiday every once in a while, and Count Dracula is no exception to this rule. The years when he took care of the Hotel Transilvania and tried to make the best possible holidays for the guests put their mark on him, and his daughter Mavis comes with a brilliant idea. She reserves to Dracula a holiday on the luxury Monster Cruise where she hopes her father will detach her daily affairs and recharge her batteries.

Dracula does not go on holiday alone, and his loyal friends can not help but accompany him on vacation. As soon as the Cruise Ship departs from the port, a totally unexpected thing, even less so by Mavis, happens: Dracula meets the mysterious ship captain, Ericka, and falls in love with her instantly! Mavis is not delighted at the choice of her father and feels that something is wrong with the new conquest of the Count. She does all she can to end this relationship before she really starts, and the reasons are all the more grounded when it comes to discovering that Ericka is actually descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, Dracula’s ancient enemy !
