The film tells the story of a young student with an imagination that at first seems to be too rich, but she has a completely different view. Barbara sees giant monsters who do evil in the city where she lives and has made a Nordic weapon she uses to fight these giants. The problem is that only she sees the monsters she claims to be fighting, so it’s hard for those around her to believe her.
She goes every day to school with that weapon, a Nordic Hammer, and her behavior attracts both bad jokes from colleagues and concern from the teachers or those close to her who care about her, such as her older sister, Karen . Barbara treats those around her with obvious contempt because she is convinced that her duties are much more important and with far greater consequences than any other people would do to fill their empty lives.
