Katie Price (Bella Thorne) has reached the age of 17 without fully enjoying all that childhood has to offer. This happened because she suffered from a rare disease that caused her extreme sensitivity to sunlight, so her entire life stayed in the house and came out only during the night. Katie has a great passion for guitar singing and she puts her talents every night at a nearby train station where she sings for passers-by.
Her only company is her father, Jack (Rob Riggle), who has grown up and educated her. The night is the moment when Katie’s world opens and in one of these frequent visits to the station to sing she meets Charlie (Patrick Schwarzenegger), a very popular high school student who was one of the best athletes and who secretly admired for many years. She hides Charlie from the problems she has, and the two of them start a love story that happens only at night.
